World Reflexology Week 2024
This year, I'd like to build awareness of some of the different ways reflexology can be applied.
A taster day on Friday 27th September, brings you all you need to try out reflexology on the feet, hands or face. Or choose all three?
Additionally, you can choose to add crystals, hot stones (feet only) aromatherapy or reiki to your treatment.

Overwhelm? 5 steps towards re-balance.
Are you overwhelmed? Are you interested in a FREE ten minute meditation you can listen to, to help you re-connect and gain perpective? Read on... Sometimes we all have 'off' days. Sometimes it lasts longer than that. Something just doesn't feel quite right and we reach a state of overwhelm... our mind doesn't want to stop thinking, and ironically it stops our thoughts from being clear. Energy levels drop and lethargy and procrastination win us over.
But we must keep going! It's not as simple as retreating into our shell until we recover... There is work to do, maybe ...
Help baby (and yourself!) to relax with reflexology
I am often asked if I can treat little feet with baby reflexology. Parents who have been with me in pregnancy yoga are keen to carry on this nurtured feeling after the birth, for themselves as well as their little ones.
Baby reflexology can be incredibly helpful in relaxing and soothing little ones. Babies who are teething, who are overtired or whose little tummies are full and uncomfortable, can benefit from therapeutic reflexology to the hands or feet.
Baby can stay in parent's arms as I gently apply light reflexology techniques to their feet. A baby session is much ...
Pregnant! Now what…?
Pregnancy. A time for many changes physically, mentally and emotionally. Sometimes even spiritually, as you become awestruck about the absolute miracle of life, growing within you. Sometimes good feelings, sometimes not so good.
As a mother to three children, with three very different births under my belt, I have experienced many different scenarios during pregnancy and labour.
From denial to fear, from diabetes to shoulder dystocia, and from shock to euphoria and total empowerment. My story is NOT your story, and your situation is completely unique.
I listen without ...

Facial Reflexology
Having a facial reflexology treatment can be especially luxurious. This amazingly relaxing therapy is a treatment for anyone. It makes a wonderful gift for someone who deserves a bit of pampering. It can be ideal if the client is not happy with people touching their feet or hands.
Facial Reflexology is based on the principle that the face contains reflexes through the ten zones of the body, exactly like foot reflexology. It brings deep calm and relaxation to the client, helping them to de-stress and let go. On top of this, the facial skin, circulation and lymphatic system ...
Reflexology
What is Reflexology?
You may have heard people talking about this complementary therapy, but actually are unsure what is reflexology. I will attempt to describe it for you here. Reflexology is a special kind of massage on the feet, hands or face.
Points and areas are pressed and gently held or 'finger-walked' to balance and soothe the body. This brings about a deep state of relaxation and encourages homoeostasis. I work with a gentle, but not light, pressure, which can also vary as I move around your feet.
Over 7000 nerve endings are in the feet alone. Based on ...
Reflexology in labour and birth
Using reflexology in labour and birth support is a wonderful way to help you relax and allow the fundus to build as your cervix opens through contractions. It is this fundus which creates the power for your baby's birth from your body.
"The key to a good birth is relaxation." Ina May Gaskin, world renowned midwife and author.
As you enter the most physically and mentally challenging time of your pregnancy, the labour and birth of your baby, you may realise you want to take additional support in to the birthing room with you. Reflexology can be done at any time in-between ...
